Fall Homeschool Day
Wednesday, October 1

Homeschoolers, you are special, so we've planned a special day for you! Our goal is to make this one of your best school days ever. While we will still be open to the public, we will not have school groups on this day so that you can enjoy the wildlife park with other homeschoolers. Come as a group or come as a family: today we will not have group minimums for homeschoolers, and you will receive our discounted school group rate. Each paid admission receives a small cup of carrots to feed the animals & a seed stick for the Parakeet Encounter.
Here are all the Homeschool Day activities you can enjoy:
Special group pricing - $12/person ages 3+. (Cash only please for discounted admission)
Pet & feed many animals from around the world including camels, sloths, capybara, alpaca, sheep & so much more! One small cup of carrots & one bird stick are included with admission.
Special guests from Nicholas and Mason Cooperative Extension will be here from 10 am to 2 pm to present "Critters of the Creek." Explore the creek and learn about the variety of bugs and what they do to help the health of the creek. Will also have a variety of live bugs on display!
Special Guests from the Mason County Public Library will be bringing a collection of homeschool curriculum, dissection modules, themed backpack programs, and information on their monthly homeschool programming. They will also be available to sign up guests for library cards!
