Wendt's Wildlife Adventure continues to grow so we are looking to add to our team! We are currently hiring for the following positions:

cashier/gift shop

Are you a friendly and efficient person that would enjoy greeting people and working in our gift shop?  This job includes a variety of duties such as processing transactions, providing information to guests about the wildlife park as well as the area, resolving guest issues,  and stocking, straightening, and cleaning up the gift shop. The position requires excellent customer service skills, and the successful candidate must be able to think clearly and quickly, and handle a fast-paced environment. Finally, you must be able to be on your feet for several hours, and you must always have a smile on your face.

school tour attendant

Do you have a heart for school children? Join us in creating the best experience possible for the many school groups that visit our farm each year. This job includes greeting buses and explaining instructions, helping to direct groups around the farm, orchestrating lunch times, and being knowledgeable about all the areas of the park. Your goal is for guests to leave happy, and with a better understanding of the history and workings of the farm and the animals that reside here.  This position would be great for anyone looking for something fun to fill their morning and early afternoons during the week.

  • MUST be able to walk long distances and be on feet for several hours

entry level zookeeper & animal educator

Do you love animals? Do you love to engage with others? This position requires a person that loves to learn, and in turn will teach our guests about the fascinating characteristics of each of our animals. In this position, you will be responsible for keeping animal pens clean and maintained, feeding and caring for animals in a variety of ways, creating top-notch animal encounter experiences for our guests, and helping the rest of your team to keep all the grounds clean and enjoyable for our guests.

marketing director

Do you love to be around animals, and want to help us to effectively spread the word about what is going on here in Carlisle, KY at Wendt's Wildlife?  This job will require someone with a keen knowledge of all social media platforms, and how to effectively utilize them to promote our wildlife park.  Knowledge of photography and videography for social media and print is a must.  Excellent spelling, grammar, and writing skills are required.  A background in other marketing platforms would also be helpful in order to determine what other media would be beneficial to utilize, and to be able to follow through with a complete marketing plan.
