ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS

At Wendt's we recognize that some animal lovers want to experience the joy of connecting to our residents one-on-one!  With an Animal Encounter or Animal Experience, you can create unforgettable memories. During these reserved sessions, our staff will guide you and your guests in a hands-on visit with many of our most-loved residents, including sloths, capybaras and baby kangaroos.

Although all of our encounters for the winter 2025-2026 season are booked up, we'll soon be announcing new availabilities that you can book in the spring, summer and fall months, so check back here soon! And remember, if you truly want to make your Encounter an experience to remember, enhance your stay by booking one of our two cozy rental houses. Each house offers a comfortable retreat, perfect to enjoy the beauty of nature around you.
