personal animal encounters!
By popular demand, WWA is adding a new feature to our zoo this year - personal animal encounters! These reserved, 45-minute sessions are held after our season ends, when the park is closed to the general public. Our staff will guide you and up to five guests in a hands-on visit with many of our most-loved residents, including sloths, capybaras and baby kangaroos! You can also feed the kookaburras and interact with other animals in our main building, including our tortoises and reptiles.

Personal encounters are 45 minute sessions where you will be able to get up close and interact with the animals

You must arrive 10 minutes before your event time to sign a waiver and receive instructions; there will be no time accommodations made for late arrivals.

You will be able to shop the gift shop for 15 minutes after the encounter

You are welcome to take pictures and videos of your encounter to share

Fee is non-refundable

Cost is $250 for 1-4 people, and $75 for each additional person with a max limit of 6 people per time slot

Payment must be received within 48 hours of receiving invoice to secure your reservation

Minimum age limit for children will be 7 years old

Time slots are available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 2pm
